Kinetic Green, a manufacturer of electric vehicles in India, has reintroduced the highly anticipated Luna in an electric avatar. The multi-utility electric two-wheeler made a comeback in India with advanced technology and features, and was unveiled at the hands of Nitin Gadkari, Union Minister of Road Transport and Highways. The Kinetic E-Luna is priced at Rs 69,990, making it the most affordable high-speed Electric Two-Wheeler in India.

The Luna has been an iconic two wheeler known for its unparalleled versatility and affordability, catering to personal commuting and various applications for small businesses. With the electric drivetrain, the two wheeler aims to be innovative and eco-friendly. The E-Luna is a high-speed Electric two-wheeler that is designed, engineered and Made-in-India aimed at masses offering monetary benefits and emission-free ride.
The all-new Kinetic E-Luna can be pre-booked the official website of Kinetic for Rs 500. Deliveries will soon start from all Kinetic Green dealerships nationwide and the E-Luna will also be available on Amazon and Flipkart.
Kinetic E-Luna: Design
The E-Luna gets a metallic coloured, dual-tubular, high-strength steel chassis offering strength and durability to the vehicle, along with a unique styling element. The moped has a 150 kg payload capacity and comes with larger 16” wheel size along with detachable rear seat for flexibility.
The E-Luna will be launched in a range of 5 metallic colours, including Mulberry Red, Pearl Yellow, Night Star Black, Ocean Blue, and Sparkling Green.

Kinetic E-Luna: Performance
The E-Luna gets an 2.0 kWh lithium-ion battery pack, that delivers a range of 110 km on a single charge. The Kinetic E-Luna variants will offer options of 1.7 kWh, 2.0 kWh and subsequently, a 3.0 kWh battery pack with 150 km per charge riding range. E-Luna’s battery meets the highest safety standard with efficient thermal management.
E-Luna is available with fast charging battery technology and swappable battery options, specially for B2B used cases. With a BLDC mid-mount motor with 2.2 kW peak capacity, E-Luna has a top speed of 50 km/h. It gets IP-67 rated water-proof, dust-proof battery and motor.
The E-Luna is equipped with a CAN-enabled communications protocol, digital meters offering real-time DTE or “Distance to Empty” range indicators to its riders, combi-braking system, telescopic front suspension, USB charging port, three riding modes for optimizing range, and side stand sensor for added safety.
