Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) has announced that its best-selling SUV, the Hyundai Creta has garnered over 1 lakh bookings in just 3 months of its launch. Hyundai Creta is the best selling mid-size SUV of India, including the first and the second generation of the vehicle. First launched in 2015, the Hyundai Creta instantly became the most desirable SUV of India, and was updated in 2020 as well.

As per Hyundai, sunroof and connected car variants of the Creta are contributing 71% and 52% respectively to the overall bookings, a testimony to the changing aspirations of young Indian customers. The 2024 Hyundai Creta competes against Kia Seltos, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Volkswagen Taigun among others in the mid-size SUV space.

Based on Hyundai’s Global Design Language of ‘Sensuous Sportiness’, the new Hyundai Creta gets a completely new design, with a commanding road presence and segment leading features including advanced Level 2 ADAS safety suite, powerful 1.5 Litre Turbo GDI engine and a gamut of convenience and active & passive safety features.

The new Hyundai Creta features 36 Standard Safety Features and over 70 Advanced Safety Features, including the following key safety features:

▪ Disc Brakes on all 4 wheels
▪ Electronic Stability Control (ESC) with Vehicle Stability Management (VSM)
