Ather Energy has released a host of new features on its on-board navigation system through an Over-The-Air (OTA) update. The latest software release brings new advancements to improve the navigation experience for Ather scooter owners. This software update will make the navigation easier, quicker and more seamless. The update will be rolled out in a phased manner and is expected to reach all Ather 450X scooters by the end of this month. The key features of the update include:
Enhanced live traffic indicators: Ather Energy has revamped the live traffic indicators on the scooter’s dashboard, providing riders with a real-time view of traffic conditions along their route. This enhancement aims to empower riders with accurate and up-to-date information for a smoother journey.
Two-Wheeler specific routes in partnership with Google Maps: Ather 450X will now have the capability to offer two-wheeler specific routes directly on the dashboard. The two-wheeler specific routes are being provided in partnership with Google Maps. This makes Ather Energy scooters the first and only in the world to provide navigation and routes tailored exclusively for two-wheeler riders, further enhancing rider safety and convenience.
Improved GPS latching: This update introduces notable improvements to GPS latching, ensuring an instant connection as soon as the scooter is powered on. This enhancement contributes to a seamless navigation experience, allowing riders to start their journeys without delays.
