Bollywood actor Kirron Kher has added a brand new Mercedes-Benz GLS luxury SUV to her garage. The SUV comes at a starting price of Rs 1.32 crore (ex-showroom) and is one of the most popular SUVs among celebrities. It also gets a more expensive version with the Maybach badge which is another popular choice among celebrities in India and across the world. The update of the actress buying the new car was shared on Instagram.
The Instagram post has a picture of the actress taking the delivery of her brand-new SUV. The SUV is available in multiple colours in the Indian market including Polar White, Obsidian Black, High-tech Silver, Selenite Silver, and Sodalite Blue. However, it’s unclear which colour the actor has chosen.

Based on the picture it seems to be either Polar White or Selenite Silver colour. With the purchase of the Mercedes-Benz GLS SUV, Kirron Kher is now part of the club of celebrities like Arjun Kapoor, Ajay Devgn, Ayushmann Khurrana, Rakul Preet Singh, and others.
The car is popular among celebs probably because of its luxurious cabin and exotic exterior. The opulent cabin of the SUV comes loaded with features like MBUX multimedia system, multi-function steering, it also gets new colour options, 13-speaker Burmester sound system which is capable of 590 watts, and more.
The petrol engine of the SUV is a 3.0-liter 6-cylinder engine with a maximum power of 375 bhp and a peak torque output of 500 Nm. The diesel engine, on the other hand, churns out 361 bhp and 750 Nm. Both engines come with a 9-speed automatic transmission, and the all-wheel drive is standard.
Mercedes-Benz recently introduced the 2024 E53 Hybrid 4Matic+ which combines a powerful 3.0-liter six-cylinder engine with a single electric motor integrated into the AMG Speedshift TCT 9G transmission. The six-cylinder engine produces 436 bhp, while the electric motor generates 158 bhp.
The combined output of this configuration is 577 bhp and 750 Nm of torque, which is distributed to all four wheels via the fully variable 4Matic+ system. The optional AMG Dynamic Plus Package unlocks 594 bhp with the Race Start mode engaged if you’re seeking an extra punch.
