BMW Motorrad India has launched the new F 450 GS Sport variant in the country at an ex-showroom price of Rs 5.90 lakh. The introduction completes the F 450 GS line-up in India, adding a sportier version of the adventure motorcycle with exclusive styling and additional riding equipment.
The new BMW F 450 GS Sport is finished in Racing Red paintwork. It also gets a clear Rallye windscreen, black hand protectors, off-road footrests and a plastic engine guard, giving it a distinct appearance compared with the other variants.
BMW F 450 GS Sport: Features And Equipment
The Sport variant is equipped with Sport Suspension, which BMW says is designed to deliver enhanced performance and riding enjoyment. It also gets Gear Shift Assistant Pro for seamless gear changes and Riding Modes Pro, offering additional versatility across different riding conditions.
The motorcycle retains the core equipment package of the F 450 GS, including ABS Pro, Dynamic Traction Control, Dynamic Brake Control and Engine Drag Control. Other features listed in the specification sheet include ride-by-wire, a six-speed transmission, an anti-hopping clutch and an adjustable rear suspension.
The F 450 GS also features a 6.5-inch TFT colour display with a multi-controller, Bluetooth connectivity, a USB Type-C port, LED lighting and heated grips.
BMW F 450 GS Engine And Performance
Powering the BMW F 450 GS is a newly developed 420cc, two-cylinder engine producing 48 hp at 8,750 rpm and 43 Nm of torque at 6,750 rpm. The engine is paired with a six-speed transmission and chain drive.
The motorcycle has a claimed top speed of 165 kmph. Its specification sheet lists an unladen weight of 178 kg, a seat height of 845 mm and a wheelbase of 1,465 mm. It comes with a 14-litre fuel tank, including an approximately 2.5-litre reserve.
The braking and suspension package includes a single-disc front brake, an upside-down front fork and rear suspension with travel-dependent damping. The motorcycle rides on aluminium cast wheels, with a 100/90-R19 front tyre and a 130/80-R17 rear tyre.

The BMW F 450 GS Sport is priced at Rs 5.90 lakh, ex-showroom. BMW India Financial Services is also offering financing options, with monthly instalments starting at Rs 9,999, subject to applicable terms and conditions.
The motorcycle comes with a standard three-year warranty with unlimited kilometres. Customers can also opt for warranty extensions covering the fourth and fifth years. BMW Motorrad additionally offers a 24×7 roadside assistance package throughout the year.
The company also provides a range of original accessories, including protection components, luggage solutions and navigation equipment, allowing owners to customise the motorcycle further.
