Uno Minda Limited has reported its highest-ever quarterly revenue and profit for the second quarter of FY2027, with consolidated revenue and profit after tax (PAT) rising 38% year-on-year. For the quarter ended September 30, 2026, Uno Minda recorded consolidated revenue of Rs 6,655 crore, compared to Rs 4,814 crore in the corresponding quarter last year. Consolidated EBITDA increased 33% to Rs 733 crore from Rs 552 crore in Q2 FY2026.
PAT attributable to Uno Minda shareholders stood at Rs 420 crore, registering a 38% increase over Rs 304 crore reported in the same period last year.
Switches, Lighting And Alloy Wheels Support Growth
The company attributed its quarterly performance to volume expansion, higher value addition and a favourable product mix across key business segments. Switches, lighting, alloy wheels and seating contributed to the growth, alongside the expanding Green Mobility business, which includes electric vehicle (EV) systems and alternate fuel solutions.
The ramp-up of recently commissioned manufacturing facilities and additional capacities also supported the increase in revenue.
The results underline the contribution of Uno Minda’s diversified product portfolio, which caters to multiple vehicle categories, including passenger cars, commercial vehicles, two-wheelers and three-wheelers.
H1 FY27 Revenue Rises 32%
Uno Minda also reported healthy growth during the first half of FY2027. Consolidated revenue for the six months ended September 2026 stood at Rs 12,212 crore, representing a 32% year-on-year increase.

Uno Minda Approves Rs 85 Crore Sunroof Capacity Expansion
Alongside its financial results, the company’s board has approved an additional capital investment of approximately Rs 85 crore to expand sunroof manufacturing capacity at Bawal in Haryana.
The proposed expansion is intended to meet incremental customer orders secured by the company and address growing demand for advanced sunroof systems in the Indian passenger vehicle market. The additional capacity is expected to be commissioned by Q2 FY2028.
This investment builds on Uno Minda’s earlier commitment to sunroof manufacturing at the same location. The initial Bawal facility is already under construction and is progressing as planned, with commercial operations expected to begin by the end of FY2027.

Sunil Bohra, CFO of Uno Minda, attributed the growth to healthy performance across business verticals, increasing scale, operating leverage and operational efficiencies.
