The collaboration will bring Made-in-India DC fast chargers rated up to 480 kW to CHARGEZONE’s network, supporting its target of 300 MW cumulative capacity.
CHARGEZONE has expanded its partnership with Ador-Quench (Quench Chargers) to deploy Made-in-India DC fast-charging infrastructure across 1,000 new charging locations in India. The deployment will include chargers ranging from 120 kW units to high-power 480 kW dispenser systems, with a focus on supporting passenger electric vehicles as well as commercial fleets.
Announced on November 5, 2026, the agreement marks another step towards CHARGEZONE’s target of achieving 300 MW in cumulative network capacity. The chargers will be based on a modular 30 kW AC-DC converter architecture, allowing systems to be configured from 30 kW up to 480 kW for different vehicle categories, including electric cars, buses and commercial trucks.
High-Power Chargers To Support Commercial Fleets
A key focus of the deployment will be commercial mobility, where charging speed and infrastructure uptime directly influence fleet productivity and operating costs. The 360 kW and 480 kW dispenser systems are designed to address the high energy requirements of electric buses, trucks and other commercial vehicles operating on fixed schedules.
According to the companies, the chargers deliver more than 96% energy efficiency, helping minimise power losses during charging. Designed for Indian operating conditions, the systems feature forced-air cooling, modular construction and front-access serviceability. They are also engineered to operate reliably under fluctuating grid conditions.
The charging infrastructure incorporates a digital CAN interface that enables real-time monitoring of voltage, current, temperature and system diagnostics. This is expected to support predictive maintenance and improve operational visibility across the network.
The high-capacity dispenser architecture can also support multiple vehicles charging at the same location. This could help busy charging hubs manage peak demand, reduce queues and improve fleet turnaround times.
120 kW Chargers For Passenger EVs
While higher-powered systems will cater to commercial vehicles, the partnership will also include 120 kW DC fast chargers for passenger electric vehicles. These will be deployed along highways and intercity routes to provide faster and more predictable charging stops for long-distance EV travel.
The new chargers will be integrated with CHARGEZONE’s proprietary ChargeCloud platform. This will enable real-time network monitoring, dynamic load management and predictive diagnostics to help maintain consistent charging performance and network uptime.
CHARGEZONE And Quench Highlight Indigenous Manufacturing
Kartikey Hariyani, Founder and CEO of CHARGEZONE, said the expansion would strengthen the company’s ability to address the different charging requirements of passenger and commercial electric vehicles. He highlighted the importance of high-power infrastructure for applications ranging from family road trips to heavy electric trucks operating around the clock.
Ravin Mirchandani, Chairperson of Ador Powertron and Quench Chargers, said CHARGEZONE was Quench’s first customer for fast chargers. He added that the new chargers are entirely Made in India, including their rectifier and controller modules.
CHARGEZONE Network And Quench’s Manufacturing Presence
CHARGEZONE currently operates more than 15,000 charging points across over 1,200 locations in India and the UAE. Its network supports passenger and commercial EV segments and includes partnerships with automotive manufacturers such as Tata.ev, Hyundai, Volvo, Mercedes-Benz, BMW and VinFast.
Quench Chargers, a wholly owned subsidiary of Ador Powertron Limited, has deployed more than 1,500 DC fast chargers across India. The company develops and manufactures AC and DC charging solutions, with its proprietary controller technology and power conversion modules designed and manufactured in India.
The addition of 1,000 charging locations is expected to expand CHARGEZONE’s high-power charging footprint while strengthening the role of locally developed charging technology in India’s growing EV ecosystem.
