Non-metro markets contributed over 60% of two-wheeler sales during the Amazon Great Indian Festival 2026, with everyday commuters registering 13.5x growth.
Amazon India has recorded a six-fold increase in two-wheeler sales during the Amazon Great Indian Festival 2026, compared to its average daily sales pace. The growth comes ahead of Dhanteras, with customers increasingly using the online platform to research, compare and purchase motorcycles and scooters.
According to the company, more than 60% of two-wheeler sales during the shopping event have come from non-metro markets. Cities including Surat, Kota, Visakhapatnam, Bhubaneswar, Prayagraj, Nellore, Warangal, Amritsar, Ludhiana, Belagavi, Kanpur and Bhilwara have contributed to the trend.
The platform offers customers a selection of over 200 two-wheeler models, covering electric scooters, everyday commuter motorcycles and premium bikes. Brands driving sales include Hero MotoCorp, Bajaj Auto, Chetak, Triumph and KTM, while EV brands such as Ampere are also seeing increased demand.
Electric Two-Wheelers And Commuters Drive Growth
Electric two-wheelers have recorded an eight-fold increase compared to their average-day sales pace, led by Chetak and Ampere. However, everyday commuter motorcycles and scooters have registered even stronger growth of 13.5 times during the festival.
Premium motorcycles have also witnessed a 2.5-fold increase, indicating continued interest among customers looking to upgrade to more powerful and versatile machines.
Amazon India said it has recently added brands such as TVS Motor, Flying Flea and Ultraviolette to its two-wheeler selection. The company also highlighted growing customer interest in researching and comparing vehicles online before making a purchase.
Dhanteras Offers Include EMIs Starting At Rs 2,350
For customers planning to purchase a two-wheeler during Dhanteras, Amazon is offering financing options with monthly instalments starting at Rs 2,350 and repayment tenures of up to 24 months. The Amazon Pay Shopping Loan option comes with zero processing fees and zero paperwork.
Eligible customers can access credit of up to Rs 3.5 lakh on purchases of Rs 50,000 and above, with credit offers available within seconds during checkout. Customers purchasing through loans can also receive 5% cashback of up to Rs 12,000, credited 14 days after delivery.
Additional payment benefits include a 10% instant discount on HDFC Bank credit cards and EASYEMI on Card. Customers can also avail discounts of up to Rs 9,000 on bank credit and debit cards, coupons worth up to Rs 3,000 or savings of up to Rs 7,000 through Amazon Pay UPI.
Amazon Pay ICICI Bank credit card holders are eligible for additional cashback, while Amazon Pay Later users can receive 10% cashback. Eligible Prime members can also get an additional Rs 250 cashback on purchases through Amazon Pay Later.
Two-Wheeler Prices During Amazon Great Indian Festival
