Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) recorded its highest-ever monthly total sales in October 2026, dispatching 82,299 units across domestic and export markets. The company’s sales grew 17.7% year-on-year compared to the corresponding month last year, supported by strong festive demand and growth in both business segments.
Domestic sales stood at 62,799 units, marking a 16.7% increase year-on-year. This was the highest-ever domestic monthly sales figure recorded by the automaker. Exports also registered healthy growth, reaching 19,500 units during the month, up 21.1% compared to October last year.
The October performance marks a new monthly sales record for Hyundai Motor India since the company’s inception.
Hyundai Venue Records Highest-Ever Monthly Sales
The Hyundai Venue also achieved a significant milestone during October 2026, recording its highest-ever domestic monthly sales of 13,017 units.
The compact SUV’s performance contributed to the company’s overall domestic sales record during the festive month. However, HMIL has not disclosed the model-wise sales breakdown for its other vehicles in the latest monthly announcement.
The company’s overall performance was supported by healthy demand in the Indian market, alongside improved export volumes. Festive-season buying activity helped drive sales momentum across its domestic dealership network.
Hyundai BAYON Expected To Support Future Growth
Commenting on the October sales performance, Tarun Garg, Managing Director and CEO of Hyundai Motor India, said the company had achieved its highest-ever monthly sales since inception, with total volumes of 82,299 units and 17.7% year-on-year growth.
He attributed the record performance to strong festive demand and healthy momentum in both domestic and export markets.
Garg also highlighted the newly launched Hyundai BAYON, which the company describes as its Intelligent Utility Vehicle. According to him, the new model is expected to provide further impetus to Hyundai’s growth in India as well as across more than 50 export markets.
The company also reiterated India’s importance as a strategic manufacturing and export hub for Hyundai.
With record domestic volumes, higher exports and the Venue achieving its best-ever monthly performance, October 2026 marked a significant milestone for HMIL. The company will look to sustain this momentum with its existing portfolio and the recently launched BAYON in the coming months.
