Hero MotoCorp has showcased its next-generation premium motorcycles, begun VIDA’s European operations and introduced Novus Labs at EICMA 2026.
Hero MotoCorp has unveiled a new range of premium motorcycles and electric mobility initiatives at EICMA 2026 in Milan, marking 25 consecutive years of global leadership. The key highlights include the new Xpulse 450 adventure motorcycle, the Harley-Davidson X350T, two new motorcycle concepts and the commencement of VIDA’s European operations with the first customer deliveries.
The company has also introduced Novus Labs, a dedicated innovation platform focused on exploring future mobility solutions. The showcase brings together internal combustion engine motorcycles, electric vehicles and emerging technologies developed through collaboration between Hero MotoCorp’s research and development centres in India and Germany.
Hero Xpulse 450 Debuts As New Adventure Flagship
The Xpulse 450 is one of the biggest highlights of Hero MotoCorp’s EICMA 2026 showcase. Developed as an all-new adventure motorcycle, it becomes the most powerful model in the company’s portfolio and has received inputs from Hero MotoSports Team Rally.
Power comes from a 421cc, liquid-cooled, four-valve DOHC engine producing 34.3 kW at 9,100 rpm and 38 Nm of torque at 7,500 rpm. The engine is paired with a six-speed transmission featuring an assist and slipper clutch.
The motorcycle also gets category-first Android Auto and Apple CarPlay integration. Its suspension package includes a fully adjustable KYB 43mm upside-down front fork with 225mm of travel and 22-step compression and rebound damping adjustment. Hero says the setup has been tuned to offer off-road impact absorption and improved control.
The Xpulse 450 is intended for both Indian and international markets. It joins the existing Xpulse family, which includes the Xpulse 200, Xpulse 210 Dakar Edition and Xpulse 210 MX.
Harley-Davidson X350T And New Concept Motorcycles
Hero MotoCorp also unveiled the Harley-Davidson X350T, extending the flat-track-inspired design language associated with the X440T into the 350cc segment.
The motorcycle features chequered graphics, an electronic throttle body, multiple riding modes, switchable ABS and traction control. It uses a new 350cc air-oil-cooled engine, while suspension duties are handled by upside-down front forks mounted within a trellis frame.
The chassis has been tuned for city agility, comfort and highway stability. The X350T is primarily developed for the Indian market and complies with BS6 OBD2P2 requirements. It joins the Harley-Davidson X440T and X440S in the portfolio.
Alongside the production-oriented models, Hero showcased the Scrambler Concept and Classic Concept. These concepts combine the company’s Dakar-inspired adventure design influences with contemporary urban styling and elements of India’s artistic heritage.
VIDA Begins European Operations With VX2 And DIRT.E K3
A major development for Hero MotoCorp’s electric mobility business is the official commencement of VIDA’s operations in Europe. The brand marked the milestone with the first customer handovers of the VIDA VX2 electric scooter and the DIRT.E K3 youth electric off-roader.
Supported by strategic partner Elektrorider, VIDA’s direct-to-consumer sales model will operate across 10 European countries: Italy, Spain, Germany, France, Slovenia, Slovakia, Romania, Hungary, the Czech Republic and Croatia.
Physical retail availability for the VX2 and DIRT.E K3 will initially cover six markets: Romania, Hungary, the Czech Republic, Slovenia, Slovakia and Croatia.
The VIDA VX2 offers a claimed range of 140 km on the WMTC cycle in Eco mode and a top speed of 90 kmph. It uses two removable IP67-rated batteries designed to support convenient home charging. Test rides and retail availability are scheduled to begin in December in the six retail markets.
The DIRT.E K3 is an electric off-roader designed to accommodate growing young riders. Its platform can be adjusted across three stages – Small, Medium and Large – without tools. An optional suspension kit is available for the large configuration. VIDA has also announced a 6Days Limited Edition, restricted to 100 individually numbered units.
VIDA Showcases New Electric Concepts
VIDA also presented two prototype vehicles at EICMA 2026. The UBX is a neo-naked urban explorer, while the DIRT.E MX7 is a high-performance electric off-roader aimed at adult riders.
Another highlight is Project VXZ, an electric motorcycle concept developed in partnership with US-based Zero Motorcycles. VIDA also announced its title sponsorship of the Technical University of Munich’s TUfast Moto Electric Team for the MotoStudent International Competition.
Novus Labs Focuses On Future Mobility
Hero MotoCorp introduced Novus Labs as a chairman-led platform to explore emerging mobility opportunities and develop working prototypes. The initiative follows Project Novus, first showcased at EICMA 2025, whose NEX range won the Red Dot Design Concept Award 2026.
At this year’s event, the company presented the NEX 1 and NEX 2 as working prototypes. The NEX 1 is a foldable personal electric vehicle designed for short sections of a journey, with a targeted top speed of 15 kmph and a range of 20 km.
The NEX 2 combines two-wheeler agility with additional stability and storage. Its development targets a range of over 150 km on the WMTC cycle and a top speed exceeding 100 kmph.
The company also presented technology developments covering AI-powered rider interfaces, electric mobility infrastructure, multi-pathway powertrains and intelligent safety systems. These include facial recognition for keyless ignition, an AI voice assistant, a battery-based Energy Dock, wireless charging for the VIDA VX2 platform and radar- and sensor-based rider assistance technologies.
With the Xpulse 450, Harley-Davidson X350T, VIDA’s European expansion and Novus Labs, Hero MotoCorp’s EICMA 2026 showcase signals a broader push across premium motorcycles, electric mobility and future mobility technologies.
