Three compact race machines introduced to develop grassroots motorsport and help young Indian riders build professional racing skills

Ohvale has officially entered the Indian market with a range of purpose-built racing motorcycles, with prices starting at ₹7.30 lakh. HOM Auto Solutions LLP, the official importer of Ohvale motorcycles in India, has introduced three models — the GP-0 110 Automatic, GP-0 160 4-Speed and GP-2 190 4-Speed — aimed at aspiring racers, riding academies and the wider Indian motorsport community.

Unlike conventional road-going motorcycles, Ohvale’s products are designed specifically for circuit riding and rider development. Their compact dimensions and dedicated racing hardware are intended to help riders learn fundamental skills such as throttle control, braking, body positioning and cornering before progressing to larger-capacity racing motorcycles.

The Ohvale range uses air-cooled, single-cylinder, four-stroke engines with carburettor fuelling, racing air filters and oil coolers. Depending on the model, riders can choose between automatic and four-speed transmissions, allowing the motorcycles to cater to different stages of rider development.

Racing hardware in a compact package

The motorcycles feature robotically welded high-strength steel trellis frames combined with aluminium swingarms. Suspension hardware includes upside-down front forks and rear piggyback monoshocks with adjustment for compression damping, rebound damping and spring preload. The race variants also receive fully adjustable 35 mm OhRacing front forks.

Braking and tyre hardware further underline the track-focused nature of the motorcycles. The range gets Ohvale-designed aluminium alloy wheels fitted with Pirelli Diablo Superbike compound slick tyres, while braking equipment includes front and rear disc brakes, four-piston radial front calipers and braided steel brake hoses. Selected versions also feature Brembo components.

Depending on the variant, additional equipment includes a slipper clutch and electronic quickshifter, giving riders the opportunity to familiarise themselves with technologies and controls found on larger racing machines.

Prices start at ₹7.30 lakh

Ohvale has launched four variants in India, with prices extending up to ₹12.75 lakh:

Model Variant Price
GP-0 110 Automatic Standard ₹7.30 lakh
GP-0 160 4-Speed Race ₹9.50 lakh
GP-2 190 4-Speed Standard ₹9.90 lakh
GP-2 190 4-Speed Race ₹12.75 lakh

Focus on developing young racing talent

HOM Auto Solutions says its objective is to strengthen India’s grassroots motorsport ecosystem by working with motorcycle racing academies, trainers and karting facilities. The company intends to combine dedicated racing motorcycles with structured training infrastructure to create more opportunities for young riders to develop their skills and participate in competitive motorsport.

Ajit Bharadwaj, Managing Director of House Of Machines, said the company’s focus is on providing young riders with the right foundation to understand motorcycle racing. According to him, learning braking, cornering, throttle control and racecraft at an early stage can prepare riders for the demands of larger-capacity race motorcycles.

With the launch of Ohvale, India now gets access to a range of compact, purpose-built race machines aimed specifically at rider development. The move could provide a new pathway for young enthusiasts looking to transition from karting and entry-level racing into more advanced motorcycle racing categories.
