The New Delhi exhibition showcases Ferrari’s racing heritage, sports cars and lifestyle, while the company plans two new dealerships and initiatives to engage Indian talent.
Universo Ferrari Makes Its India Debut
Ferrari has opened its first Universo Ferrari exhibition in India, bringing an immersive experience celebrating the brand’s heritage, innovation, performance and craftsmanship to New Delhi. Officially inaugurated on Saturday, 17 October 2026, the exhibition will remain open to the public until 1 November.
The event initially welcomed clients, media, partners and institutions, including Antonio Bartoli, Ambassador of Italy to India. Ferrari CEO Benedetto Vigna inaugurated the exhibition, describing it as an opportunity to experience the company’s racing spirit, sports cars, lifestyle and heritage.
The exhibition features dedicated areas covering Sports Cars, Racing, Ferrari Classiche, Ferrari Luce, Tailor Made, Community, Hypersail and the company’s commitment to Co-Prosperity.
Ferrari Plans Two New Dealerships in India
As part of its long-term commitment to India, Ferrari plans to expand its retail network with two new dealerships by the end of 2026.
In South India, the company will partner with KUN Group to establish a presence in Chennai. In Western India, Ferrari will expand into Ahmedabad through Infinity Group. The new locations are intended to bring the brand closer to customers while maintaining its focus on exclusivity, personalised service and long-term client relationships.
Ferrari currently views India as a fast-growing market with a passionate community of sports car enthusiasts. The company says its plans combine stronger customer engagement, cultural initiatives and a broader retail presence.
Tailor Made India Celebrates Ten Cities
The Tailor Made India project has been developed in collaboration with students from the National Institute of Design (NID). Working from a Ferrari design brief, students explored the identity of ten Indian cities, with their concepts subsequently translated by Ferrari Design into ten digital configurations.
The collection comprises five Ferrari 12Cilindri configurations and five Ferrari Purosangue configurations. The designs draw inspiration from Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru, Chennai, Jaipur, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, Varanasi and Goa, reflecting each city through colours, materials and patterns.
Ferrari also invited around 1,000 students to participate in seminars and exchanges covering leadership, innovation, technology, product development, design and entrepreneurship.
Racing Cars and Sports Cars on Display
The Racing section features the Scuderia Ferrari SF-26 Formula 1 car, the Le Mans-winning 499P and the 296 GT3. The Ferrari Challenge area showcases the 296 Challenge, while the Hypersail project highlights the company’s expansion of its technology and performance expertise into sailing.
The sports car display includes the 849 Testarossa Spider, Ferrari 12Cilindri Spider, Ferrari Amalfi Spider and F80. Visitors can also explore Ferrari Luce, the Daytona SP3 project and a Tailor Made 12Cilindri Manuale. The Ferrari Classiche area features the F50 and Ferrari 365 GTB4, alongside a special Ferrari 612 Scaglietti that participated in the 2008 Magic India Discovery tour.
Charity Auction Supports Children’s Education
An exclusive charity auction held during a client dinner, in collaboration with Avelon Luxe, featured ten lots. Proceeds will support educational initiatives involving Save the Children and Bal Raksha Bharat in India, including school readiness, foundational learning, learning materials and classroom support.
Avelon Luxe has also joined Ferrari as its India-based partner for the Ferrari Hypercar and Ferrari Challenge Middle East series.
The exhibition’s launch was accompanied by a journey involving 25 Ferraris, which travelled approximately 1,800 kilometres from Mumbai through Vadodara, Udaipur, Jaipur and Agra before reaching New Delhi.
