Domestic Sales Grow 32% Year-on-YearDr.-Raghupati-Singhania-CMD-JK-Tyre

JK Tyre attributed the improvement in its Indian business to stronger demand following GST 2.0. The company reported a 65% increase in the original equipment (OE) market, which supported 32% year-on-year growth in domestic sales.

Commenting on the performance, Dr. Raghupati Singhania, Chairman and Managing Director of JK Tyre & Industries, said the growth reflected progress towards the company’s objective of becoming one of India’s most profitable tyre manufacturers.

The company said its performance was broad-based across markets and product categories, supported by disciplined execution and customer demand.

EBITDA Improves Despite Cost Pressures

Consolidated EBITDA for the quarter was reported at Rs 343 crore, increasing 28% sequentially. The company said the improvement came despite persistently high input costs and supply-chain constraints.

Container freight rates remained significantly above historical levels, while geopolitical tensions in West Asia continued to create challenges for the operating environment.

JK Tyre’s management said it remained optimistic about demand, citing healthy customer traction across segments. The company intends to focus on sustainable and profitable growth by leveraging its manufacturing facilities, pan-India fleet service network, international presence and customer partnerships.

JK Tornel Records Rs 479 Crore Revenue

JK Tornel, JK Tyre’s Mexican subsidiary, recorded revenue of Rs 479 crore during the quarter, with its performance rebounding over the period.

The subsidiary remains an important part of the company’s international growth strategy. JK Tyre operates nine manufacturing facilities in India and two in Mexico, with a combined annual production capacity of more than 38 million tyres.

The company serves passenger vehicle, commercial vehicle, farm, off-the-road and two- and three-wheeler segments. Its distribution network includes more than 6,250 dealers and over 900 dedicated brand shops, while its products reach more than 100 countries through over 230 global distributors.

Technology and Sustainability Remain Key Priorities

JK Tyre continues to invest in research, development and tyre technology through its Global Tech & Innovation Centre, the Raghupati Singhania Centre of Excellence in Mysore. Its technology portfolio includes Smart Tyre technology and tyre pressure monitoring systems (TPMS), which monitor parameters such as tyre pressure and temperature.

On sustainability, the company said it secured a CareEdge ESG 1+ rating for the third consecutive year, according to its published financial results. It is also a member of the global RE100 initiative, targeting 100% renewable electricity by 2050.

With record quarterly revenue and stronger domestic demand, JK Tyre is looking to sustain its growth momentum while navigating elevated costs and continuing supply-chain challenges.
