The new full-face helmet features an integrated rear spoiler, Revo visor, internal sun visor and safety-focused equipment.
AXOR, the premium riding gear brand from Vega Auto, has launched the Agera, a high-performance full-face helmet designed around race-inspired styling, aerodynamic engineering and functional ventilation. The new helmet targets riders seeking a performance-oriented riding experience, with a focus on airflow management, visor functionality and safety features.
A key highlight of the AXOR Agera is its integrated rear spoiler, which has been engineered to reduce aerodynamic drag and help minimise neck fatigue during high-speed riding. The spoiler also serves as an integrated rear exhaust vent, combining aerodynamic and ventilation functions within a single design element.
Aerodynamic Design and Integrated Ventilation
The Agera features a streamlined shell profile developed with airflow management in mind. Its rear spoiler is intended to support aerodynamic stability while directing airflow through the helmet’s integrated exhaust vent.
According to Uttam Chandak, Joint Managing Director and R&D Head at AXOR, the helmet reflects the brand’s focus on combining aerodynamic considerations, functional ventilation and race-inspired design. The development approach centres on managing airflow effectively, particularly at higher speeds.
The helmet’s styling draws inspiration from racing applications, while its functional elements are designed to appeal to riders who prioritise both appearance and performance-oriented features.
Revo Visor and Anti-Fog Support
The AXOR Agera comes equipped with an optically correct, scratch-resistant and UV-protected outer Revo visor. It features a quick-release mechanism that allows riders to change the visor without tools.
An internal smoke sun visor is also included to provide additional glare protection in bright riding conditions. The helmet is Pinlock-ready, supporting the use of an anti-fog insert to help maintain visibility in conditions where visor fogging may occur.
These features add to the helmet’s everyday usability, particularly for riders who encounter changing light and weather conditions during their journeys.
Double D-Ring and Emergency Quick Release System
Safety-focused equipment on the Agera includes a Double D-Ring fastening system and an Emergency Quick Release System (EQRS). The Double D-Ring provides a secure method of fastening the helmet, while the EQRS is designed to assist with helmet removal during emergency situations.
AXOR has positioned the Agera as a combination of aerodynamic design, functional features and race-inspired styling. However, the launch announcement does not specify the helmet’s certification standards, available sizes, colour options or pricing.
AXOR Expands Its Performance-Focused Portfolio
The Agera will also be introduced across global markets, extending AXOR’s performance-focused product portfolio beyond India.
AXOR operates under Vega Auto, whose Vega Helmets brand was founded in 1989 and is headquartered in Belgaum, Karnataka. The company’s portfolio includes everyday riding helmets under Vega and premium performance and adventure-oriented products under AXOR, alongside riding apparel, gloves, luggage and accessories.
With the Agera, AXOR is expanding its full-face helmet range with a product that combines an integrated aerodynamic spoiler, ventilation functionality, multiple visor features and emergency-release equipment.
