Bajaj Pulsar N250SS Gets Major Upgrades

Bajaj Auto has introduced the new Pulsar N250SS in India at an ex-showroom price of ₹1,59,406 in Delhi. Announced on 21 October 2026, the updated motorcycle brings changes to its engine, gearbox, electronics and rider convenience features over the existing Pulsar N250.

The N250SS features a four-valve engine producing 25 PS of power and 22 Nm of torque. It is paired with a six-speed gearbox, replacing the five-speed unit on the existing N250. The motorcycle also gains an Electronic Throttle Body (ETB) and selectable ETB ride modes.

Bajaj Auto describes the N250SS as a more technology-focused addition to the quarter-litre motorcycle segment.

The updated engine delivers 25 PS and 22 Nm, compared with 24.5 PS and 21.5 Nm on the existing Pulsar N250. The revised powertrain is complemented by the six-speed transmission, which replaces the earlier five-speed gearbox.

The introduction of an Electronic Throttle Body is another key change. The N250SS features ETB ride modes alongside the existing ABS modes, expanding the motorcycle’s electronic features.

According to Sarang Kanade, Chief Business Officer of Bajaj Auto’s Two-wheeler Business Unit, the combination of an upgraded powertrain and ETB ride modes is intended to make technology a more meaningful part of the performance riding experience.

Five-Inch TFT Display Adds Google Maps Mirroring

The Pulsar N250SS replaces the existing LCD instrument display with a new 5-inch TFT console. The display supports Google Maps mirroring, adding navigation functionality to the motorcycle’s technology package.

A Sports Shifter is another addition to the updated model. Bajaj Auto has also equipped the motorcycle with adjustable levers, a USB Type-C charging port, Panic Brake Alert and a hazard switch.

These additions expand the N250SS’s convenience and safety-related equipment while updating its overall feature package.

Pulsar N250SS Builds on the N-Series Legacy

The N250SS builds on the Pulsar N series’ focus on performance and road presence, combining the revised powertrain with additional rider-focused technology.

The launch also comes as the Pulsar brand marks 25 years. Bajaj Auto says the updated motorcycle reflects changing rider expectations while retaining the performance-oriented character associated with the brand.

Bajaj Auto Continues Its Global Two-Wheeler Presence

Bajaj Auto states that it has sold more than 21 million motorcycles across over 100 countries. The company also identifies itself as India’s largest motorcycle exporter and the world’s largest manufacturer of three-wheelers.

With the Pulsar N250SS, Bajaj Auto has expanded the existing N250 package through engine and transmission changes, electronic ride modes and a new TFT display. The motorcycle is priced at ₹1,59,406, ex-showroom Delhi.
