Customer deliveries to start from October 7 as the Bengaluru-based EV startup marks its second anniversary with the first batch of 100 scooters
E3 Electric.Ai has commenced production of its intelligent electric scooter, the E3 TRION, at its manufacturing facility in Hyderabad. The company has announced that customer deliveries will begin in batches from October 7, 2026, marking an important milestone as E3 Electric.Ai enters its second year of operations.
The E3 TRION will be offered in three variants — C1, C1X and C2, targeting three different customer groups: youngsters, families and business users. The electric scooter will be available in six colour options: Nova Blue, Teal Blue, Graphite Grey, Misty Green, Solar Red and Luna White.
Over 550 validation tests conducted
E3 Electric.Ai says the TRION has undergone an extensive development and validation programme focused on reliability, safety and durability in conditions representative of Indian roads.
The scooter has completed more than 550 Design Validation Plan (DVP) tests, including chassis dynamometer power testing, range testing and brake-pressure sensor validation. It has also undergone accelerated durability testing on a Cam Drum Test Rig with a 205 kg payload.
The testing programme included water-wading tests at depths ranging from 100 mm to 300 mm, conducted at different speeds, along with heavy rainstorm and water-wash testing.
The TRION was also put through a 260-km mixed-terrain round trip between Bengaluru and Hogenakkal, covering mountain roads, sharp bends, gradients and rough surfaces. E3 says these tests were aimed at validating the scooter beyond controlled testing environments and preparing it for real-world Indian riding conditions.
First 100 buyers to get extended warranty
The first 100 customers will become part of E3 Electric.Ai’s founding-owner community. These customers will receive a complimentary 8Y100K+ extended warranty, covering the battery and key components for eight years or one lakh kilometres, whichever comes first.
They will also receive one year of E3 Wingman roadside assistance. The combined benefit is valued at ₹6,500 for the C1’s 2.3 kWh battery and ₹8,500 for the 3 kWh batteries used in the C1X and C2.
Sanjeev P., Founder & CEO of E3 Electric.Ai, said the start of production represents the transition of the TRION from engineering and testing to customer deliveries. The company says its focus has been to develop an intelligent and robust electric scooter designed for real-world usage.
AI-focused electric mobility platform
E3 Electric.Ai describes itself as a Bengaluru-based deep-tech electric mobility company focused on intelligent electric scooters. Its technology portfolio includes AI-enabled safety systems, predictive diagnostics, connected vehicle technologies, modular powertrain architecture and battery intelligence.
The company says it has been granted 14 essential technology patents and more than 40 intellectual property rights (IPRs). With production now underway, E3 Electric.Ai is preparing to expand the TRION’s presence on Indian roads, beginning with the first batch of customer deliveries from October 7.
